Project Description

Project for our Client GJ Builders and Contracting in the CBD of Liverpool. Originally designed as concrete boed piles, however after geotechnical testing and examinations our engineering team were able to  convert the foundation piles to screw piles. Saving our client up to 35% on original budget and reducing the drilling time by 40%. Our challenges were getting access to double storey basement, working in reactive clay and maneovering around the job without destroying the excavation. We had built a custom tool on our bob cat, to do all he mouse work and feed the piles to our rig. 121x Screw piles designed, 6m drilling depth installed to shale rock, total of 6 days on site.
